I tried to collect Foley for my radio advert using a microphone attached to a camera, however I had difficulties recording audio and when I attempted to upload my audio to Adobe Audition, the file format was incompatible with any software I used. My solution for my problems is to record audio with another person who understands how to record audio as well as import it to Adobe Audition.

I was unable to record outside due to weather conditions, mainly due to snow and ice. I will continue to record whenever possible. I was able to record in the gym as well as film footage of the process of filming and have began to edit and experiment using premier pro, I chose the gym as my filming location due to the field I was planning to film on wasn't available due to the weather, the gym fit with the aesthetic I want in my adverts, it was also open with people inside using the equipment so I could quickly record my footage.

Continuing to develop and experiment with my audio from yesterdays session, currently I am planning to only use the treadmill audio as it is loud and recognizable as a treadmill as appose to the weights which don't make much sound and would be unrecognizable without footage. I think the cross dissolve transitions don't match the aesthetics of my advert, therefore I am going to remove the transitions in the final version. I will most likely record more audio from the gym as I don't think my current material is enough for an entire radio advert.

I recorded the narration for my radio advert using a DSLR camera and mic whilst in room 127. I initially struggled with setting up my mic and camera but I managed to fully record my script. I also attempted to edit my audio and music in Adobe Audition but I experienced technical difficulties and therefore was unable to play my audio.

I have compiled all of my audio and have now completed my radio advert. I have also continued work for my final poster.
The original poster in the middle was changed due to the large amount of empty space, my solution was to make the silhouette larger as well as adding a darker green circle behind the silhouette using the ellipse tool, I did this in order to further draw the audience to the silhouette and to add emphasis, this is the first time I have used the ellipse tool. I used the text tool and experimented by using different fonts and colors in order to make the writing stand out from the green background, I used "Deja vu serif" as the font and used black for the color. I experimented with the layers on photoshop which allowed me to change elements of the background or foreground without effecting the other elements of the poster.

For my radio advert, I used adobe audition to compile my audio into one file. I layered my narration on top of my sound effects and music that I downloaded from "free sound", later I attempted to balance the audio levels from the separate tracks to make sure that the audience could hear my narration clearly as appose to the sound effects and music drowning out my audio. I exported the audio into premier pro and uploaded the finished product on YouTube. It took me multiple attempts to import an image into premier pro for a thumbnail, eventually I moved the text from the top of the thumbnail to the bottom as a solution to the problem.
